SMARTHINKING Online Tutoring The pilot program that has enabled LSU Independent & Distance Learning to offer free online tutoring through Smarthinking ends Friday, May 16, 2008. After that date, free services from Smarthinking will no longer be available to IDL students. If you wish to purchase the services of an online tutoring service, Smarthinking is one of several providers. Review the Smarthinking website (http://www.smarthinking.com/static/individuals/) to determine whether this service is appropriate for your needs, or search "online tutoring" to locate other providers. When exploring your options, make sure that tutors are available in the subject areas and on the time schedule that you need them. (back to top) |
